Demonic Resurrection to release new album

Mumbai-based Demonic Resurrection have announced the release of their fourth full-length album titled ‘The Demon King‘. The album is due for release worldwide on Candlelight Records and on Universal Music in India. “We have always played around with unnamed forces of darkness in the past. Mumbai-based death metal band Demonic Resurrection have just been announced to play at Wacken Open Air 2014. WOA is one of the worlds biggest metal festivals with almost 80,000 attendees in the small village of Wacken in Schleswig-Holstein, northern Germany. Progressive metal band Midhaven from Mumbai signed to Universal Music, who recently announced their debut album Spellbound have released a lyric video for the first single ‘Seeking The Divine‘. Frontman Karan Kaul says “Seeking the Divine is a melodic piece with sludge metal elements. Its story talks about finding a loved one’s soul somewhere in the afterlife.” The album is slated to release next week on all major digital platforms and will be available in the physical format in April. The album can be pre-ordered from here.

Demonic Resurrection announce new guitarist

Indian metal veterans Demonic Resurrection, who recently parted ways with long time guitarist Daniel Kenneth Rego have announced his replacement – axeman Nishith Hegde, known for his work with Albatross and Reptilian Death has now joined the band.
