Alo wala, meaning “person of the light” in a Bengali-Hindi mash up, is a Brooklyn-­based recording artist. Her sound is rooted in hip-hop and branches into dancehall as she flows like water over embellished basslines, promising a mind lifting, dancefloor experience. Alo Wala, is a Chicago native. She takes her musical inspiration from her many lives around the globe.

Alo Wala missions to create balance, from self to humanity at large. alo wala’s live show is crafted with and backed by Copia Doble Systema. The spectacle swanks live percussions by member Sylvest, once coined the youngest drummer of the Danish Royal Marching Band while member Copyfle wields an MPC sampler, special effects and keys. Magic raving, you will find her in lavish geometric shapes and bright colors, flirting in front of euphoric visuals and bouncing over colossal basslines.
