Dark light, is a Bangalore based band formed in 2013 with Jose Xavier on the  Vocals, Mohammed Uvais the lead Guitar & Vocals, Anand Pilakkat on keyboard, Kailash Suresh on Bass and  Shakthi Prasad on Drums. The band is a five piece Psychedelic/progressive rock band  whose  music could  be described as a soulful mix of progressive elements, ambient psychedelic soundscapes and the drive and energy of stadium rock.Darklight is united by a singular artistic and musical vision inspite of  its members having a fairly diverse and varied musical influences and styles. To play music which defies generic  categorisation and leave audiences in a trance. They are heavilydraw their inspirations  from the bands like Pink Floyd, Porcupine Tree, U2, Opeth, Guns N Roses Radiohead, Led zeppelin. Darklight aspires to create powerful and soul-stirring music to leave you spellbound and wanting more.
