This November 5th, blueFROG is teaming up with micro-philanthropy platform HopeMonkey to help girls in Mokhada get to school. All proceeds from the event will benefit The Campus Bicycle project, a student-run initiative started at St. XavierÂ’s College that works to increase educational access for children in rural Maharashtra.
Though some children are fortunate enough to be sent to school by their families rather than work, they often have to walk a distance of 7 to 10 kilometres every day in the hot sun to get to school. By giving these children bicycles, The Campus Bicycle Project is able to reduce dropout rates and ensure that children expend their energy studying, rather than in their commute to school.
In this one night of amazing music, you can help raise 1 lakh to give hope, bicycles, and access to education to 25 girls living in a small village in Mokhada.
