Capturing the Scene: A Photographic Exploration of Indian Music Today at High Spirits, Pune

Over the last few years, independent music in India has mushroomed into something vibrant and wonderfully alive and thriving. High Spirits Cafe has been witness to this phenomenon, and prides itself in providing a platform for our musicians as well as attracting an audience that is open-minded and ready to give a chance to anybody who’s brave enough to take the stage.

As a homage, The High Collective, a High Spirits community initiative, will be hosting an exhibition of photographs that document this beautiful growth of Independent music in India on Saturday, the 18th of January. The exhibition will be displaying an abundance of work of both renowned music photographers, as well as amateur artists and fans. Do join us in this visual journey!
