The first half will feature an instrumental trio performing each other’s melodies. The second half will feature a quartet with Claire on vocals. The band will perform Claire’s own compositions and arrangements of well known jazz standards.

Clare Foster lived and worked in New York, Holland, Singapore and Canada. Now resident in England, she has been touring extensively with her Jazz Quartet and Brazilian band ‘Claridade’. Her recent release ‘Learning to Love’ features the fine playing of some of Britain’s best jazz musicians, Jason Rebello (Sting), Alec Dankworth (Dave Brubek), Winston Clifford (Carmen Lundy), Jean Toussaint (Art Blakey) and Shanti Jayasinha (Jason Yarde).

Shanti Paul Jayasinha studied at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. He has recorded with Kenny Wheeler, Bobby Watson, Tim Garland, The Brand New Heavies, The Stereophonics and Basement Jaxx.
