Grey Area

Grey Area is a pop/rock band, based in Mumbai, which comprises four passionate musicians; Elton (Bassist), Sanchit (Percussion/Drums), Floyd (Vocalist, Lead Guitar) and Nestor (Vocalist, Rhythm Guitar). The band members have jammed together on several occasions for local and international congresses under different names. They first met to form the ‘Gen Presence’ a local Christian band and under this name played various gigs around the city and across states as well. They later changed their name to ‘Afterglow’ a strictly commercial band, where they performed across venues in the city; Jazz by the bay, U-Nite and Local fetes. For long the band had a dream of reaching out and sharing their own compositions with a larger audience. This prompted the guys to put together the band once more, resulting in the formation of Grey Area.

Influences: The Killers, Travis, U2, Bryan Adams, The Eagles, Oasis, Robbie Williams, Foster The People, The Beatles, The Police, Tom Petty, Tracy Chapman, John Mayer, Elton John, Bob Marley, among others.
