datdatdat (Istanbul), DJ Mocity & Moniker at Cafe Out of The Box, Delhi

Wild City is back at Out of The Box this weekend, hosting the debut of Istanbul based dance music aficionado datdatdat alongside the solo return of DJ MoCity.

Anyone who has heard datdatdat’s mixtapes will know that they are a testimony to an addict who’s always seeking a personal musical nirvana. And as a selector this enables him to communicate with audiences at raves, in underground basements, as well as at sunset beach parties. All we can add is that’s he’s a bloody good DJ, so come get your dance on.

They’re also celebrating the return of DJ MoCity at his previous local haunt; OTB.

With roots firmly based in hip-hop, he has entertained crowds and organised events all over the country whilst also being the creative fulcrum of “Dubstation” at NH7 Weekender. A stage that has tirelessly promoted bass heavy genres such as dub, reggae, hip-hop, glitch-hop, dubstep, drum and bass and others.

For the last 2 years DJ MoCity has sadly been MIA – growing a network in Turkey, UAE, Malaysia and Bulgaria. A global citizen with an acute awareness of the values and ethos the music he promotes represents, he is always on the edge of the next big thing.

In support of both these acts will be New Delhi based selector; Moniker who’ll no doubt be getting the floor moving with a selection of deep, dancefloor and sonic concoctions.
