ROCK CASTLE presents DESI ROOTS an amalgamation of four musicians who claim to have practiced and performed the art for over a decade. Desi Roots derives it influences from theatre, ancient poetry, folk and traditional Hindustani classical to contemporary international musical styles and genres, world music and electronica. Having dabbled in various genres ranging from folk to dubstep, members of Desi Roots are driven towards making original music which is unconventional and seeped in contemporary as well traditional sounds.
