Indian DJ/ Producer/Label Owner Leon Russell was born in 1984 in the city of Mumbai. Music runs in his blood, as from a very young age he was treated to the likes of classic rock legends such as Deep Purple, Iron Butterfly, Scorpions, Queen, CCR and The Steve Miller Band. The real reason for his passion for music was his father who is also a musician. He got his first dose of electronic dance music in the year 1998, when techno parties were a rage in Mumbai. He started playing music at an early age of fifteen.
And then in the year 2008 came Toyz In Panic, formally known as “Leon Russell and Doktor Daniel?, a project which brings to the floor a concept of EDM with a live element i.e. percussions. Their motive is to showcase a unique way of playing EDM. This act throws in a style of EDM, which is naughty, bouncy and groovy to the likes of Tech House, Techno and some Progressive House as well.
