Unohu
Formed in March 2012, Unohu is a three-piece alternative rock band based in Mumbai. The band initially began with brothers, Sarthak Karkare (Vocals and guitar) and Shashwat Karkare (Drums), jamming in their room. The third member, Yohann Coutinho (Bass), joined the duo after meeting Sarthak Karake in college.
One of their memorable gigs recently was at the crowdfunded annual gig series Control Alt Delete in Mumbai in October last year. The band hasnt released an EP as of yet, mainly working on singles such as Parachute, which they released in May .
Their single Caught Between A Rock And Your Face featured on Stupiditties 666: Satan Lives! and was released by indie label ennui.BOMB. Their influences include the likes of prog rock bands Porcupine Tree and Karnivool and alt rockers Incubus.
Bone Broke
Bone Broke is the solo garage rock project of Mumbai based singer/songwriter Dinkar Dwivedi. The music is raw blues based rock that focuses on catchy riffs and stomping beats. Their track “I’ve Got Something” was featured on the Stupiditties 666 compilation. Bone Broke is currently working on its first EP with producer Ayan De.
