Faridkot was formed in 2008 and since then, they’ve been holding strong the fort for original Hindi music. One of the first bands in the country to be called ”Sufi rock”, the band loves to explore all sorts of ideas through their music, rather than sticking to a single genre. Keeping things interesting and fun, while being soulful in thought and lyrics is the simple philosophy that the band likes to stick to. They released their first album Ek on Times Music in 2011. Now, they’re releasing their second album Phir Se? on Universal Music, as part of this concert that is one leg of a six-city tour, including Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore, Hyderabad and Kolkata.
