Starting out in 2008, Faridkot has been a regular act on Delhi stages and beyond. Riding early on the wave of sufi music influx that is still flowing in they have carved out a cult following for themselves in the North. Faridkots music is a mixture of shifting blues guitars and harmonic love melodies blended around a thumping percussion and bass. Described in certain circles as Confused Pop.
Faridkot are all set to launch their second album “Phir Se” with a six-city tour. The new album is touted to be fun, complex yet simple in its roots and at the same time might take the listener to new territories in Hindi (and sometimes Punjabi) music.

OPENING BAND : the Sanket and Rajan Project
As the name suggests, is a project conceptualized by Sanket Sane and Rajan Batra. With the soulful voice and lyrics of Rajan Batra and the heart touching powerful music production and direction of Sanket Sane, this project was conceived just over a few instantaneous hours of a jam session. All songs in the Project follow a mature style of writing, wherein the lyrics follow a form of a story, the journey of a young man and his personal battle for love. Capturing a myriad moods and emotions such as Love, passion, pain, exhilaration, etc..aa
Sanket and Rajan have recently released their song EID WALA CHAND with Saregama music ,which is a hit online and successfully being played all over India on Television Channels such as BIG CBS and SAB TV and on Radio stations such as Radio City, Freedom Radio ad BIG 92.7 FM.
