Festival of Strings – Daniel Linden and Santosh Chandran at Alliance Francaise de Bangalore

The Majolly Music Trust is back with another Festival! After the Classical Piano Festival, and the Festival of Classical Song, this time it’s the Festival of Strings featuring some terrific musicians from India and abroad. September 20th is Day 1 of this fabulous Festival featuring American Classical guitarist Daniel Linden and Santosh Chandran with his own inimitable style of Indo-Flamenco. Daniel Linden has appeared as a solo artist and chamber music player in the US, Spain, India and Nepal, performing both standard classical repertoire and original compositions. A graduate from the Manhattan School of Music, Daniel has studied guitar with Mark Delpriora and David Leisner, and has collaborated with Hindustani and Carnatic musicians. Santhosh Chandran is an iconic musician from Kerala who plays a unique genre of flamenco and Carnatic music, and has performed internationally. An evening not to be missed! Donor passes of Rs 300 will be available at the venue, and at the Trust a week before the concert. All proceeds will go towards our unique pension fund for aged and infirm musicians.
