Filter Coffee
Is there anything fresher tasting than Filter Coffee in the world? We doubt it! And thats exactly what happens when Shriram Sampath (flautist) and Swarupa Ananth (percussionist) who are also music producers come together – the result is Filter Coffee.
This Ethnotronic collaborative includes a unique blend of Indian Classical/Folk instruments, textured sounds and voices with electronic grooves. Once these two start grooving you cannot help but groove too!
They recently collaborated with well know producer and performer Spoonbill. They have performed at numerous festivals like The Prithvi Festival, Kala Ghoda festival, Sulafest, Delhi International Arts festival, India-Pakistan Youth Forum, World Music Day festival at Alliance Francaise and many more!
They have also toured the UK, Indonesiona, Malaysia and the Channel Islands.
Krishna Marathe
Krishna Marathe is a multi-instrumentalist/singer/producer from Mumbai. Her music can be described as Indian-classical Electronica and she is a one-woman band who sings, plays guitar, flute, MIDI sax and is an electronic musician. She has been playing music, primarily the guitar, professionally from 2001; over a decade now and has played along with some of the biggest artists in the Indian industry. Krishna has performed at some of the best live clubs in India and she’s slated to tour Europe this October.
