After 17 years of touring and seven albums, Hadouk goes to a quartet – Loy Ehrlich’s Hajouj and Didier Malherbe’s doudouk are still the heart of the sound but even with one more musician the sound is more acoustic and natural.

Loy Ehrlich leaves the keyboards to play gumbass (a hybrid between moroccan gumbri and bass guitar). Eric Löhrer (acoustic guitar, lapsteel, cavaquinho, banjo) with his subtle style, brings a new harmonic universe to the quartet. Didier Malherbe plays a different kind of doudouk and brings amazing flutes such as: Chinese pa-ou chinois, Indian bansouri and Moldavian pipe. Jean Luc Di Fraya, drummer, plays an original percussion set along with his unique vocals.
