DJ Janux: the name comes from ‘Janus’, a mythical Roman god who has two faces: one dark, one light – one looking into the past, one looking into the future.
A powerful DJ who can read any situation and play the perfect vibe for that space and time. Janux’s style ranges from high energy trippy night music, to magical twilight, to strong and psychedelic morning sounds. His high energy performances packed full with killer mixing, sorcery, and dance power, transform the party into a powerful spirit.
His roots in music started in the mid ’80s in Goa where he was a kid growing up in the early days of the trance scene. He has been DJing since 1998, and has played at parties and festivals all over the world including Tree of Life and Universal Religion. His DJ journey has put him behind the decks in NYC (where he started the DJ collective called Sound Species), London, Amsterdam, Hungary, France, Oslo, Turkey, Nepal, Bangkok, Goa, and all over the rest of India.

He has played all around the country’s clubs and bars, honing his skills and developing his style of music. It was on his frequent trips to Goa that he first discovered Goa trance and the vibrant scene that psychedelic music has to offer.
From House and Hip hop to Psychedelic trance, Nitin has spent the last 9 years of his Career dedicated to the style. He is one of the nations foremost trance DJs playing the biggest parties in the country. He has headlined some of the biggest events such as SUNBURN, HILLTOP XMAS -NYE-HILLTOP FESTIVAL, UNIVERSAL RELIGION NEPAL, FREEEARTH FESTIVAL GREECE and BLACKMOON FESTIVAL ITALY, and been a feature on most of the electronic festivals in the country.
He is known for his bouncy and up-tempo, extremely intelligent sets and he knows how to get people on the dance floor moving and grooving.
He has played with all the top Psy trance acts in the world such as ACE VENTURA, Astrix, SPHONGLE, PROMETHEUS, GMS, NEELIX, TRISTAN and many more.
