GREY AREA plays post modern retro desi funk with a whiff of electronica and lots of self indulgence. Our musical aim is to please ourselves first , and then those 3 guys and 1 girl in the audience with some deadly honest music.
The bands driving ( and motorcycling ) philosophy is to Be yourself, because everything else is already taken

From a whisper to a scream,through our music we explore all the facets of our personality. The tunes dissect through a multitude of genres, but remain unmistakably distinct in their emotional message. Improvisation is at the heart of our music and we attempt to present ourselves to the listener in the most transparent way possible. Collectively and individually, the three of us have played with almost all the rock/pop/jazz bands to come out of the city. Tree’O’ is a project that has evolved out of our years of experience in these varied styles and the the need to write music that speaks of these experiences without inhibitions or the need for commercial acceptance.
