From the recesses of a suburban, skimmed-milk-drinking bedroom where only unicorns, fairies and trance were builtsprang forth a creature so mutated, so denigrate and so convolutedthat the dance music world is taking their formula for Trouse or Tre-lectro or whatever they call itand submitting their heads and everything in between to say their minds arent the only things being blown. They are Lost Stories- a prolific Indian electronic music duo comprised of Indias best EDM producers Prayag Mehta and Rishab Joshi.
They collaborated and started producing in the first half of 2008. The duo released their first track How Do You Like Me Now? on Vh1 India this July, as part of Contraband: a joint venture between Universal Music India, one of the biggest record labels today India’s premier Entertainment channel, Vh1 and leading live music venue Hard Rock Café. The track first is the first single of EDM band Lost Stories debut album Music for the # Generation. Contrabands was launched earlier this year to create a unique platform for independent artists and Lost Stories will be the first artists to release an album under the label.
To list a few feathers in their hat – Armin van Buuren, Markus Schulz and BT regularly play their music to millions of sleepless vampires. They have won the VH1 Best Trance DJ award by not playing or producing a single trance song. Pete Tong has invited them to play at the International Music Summit party and be a part of the panel. They seared on to skins of over 150,000 revellers through two Sunburns in Goa and Mumbai. They have share stages with Tiesto, W&W, Laidback Luke, Dash Berlin, Sander Van Doorn, Chicane, Cosmic Gate, TV Rock, Marco V, Acid Jack, Marcel Woods.
