Wednesday Night Live Ft. Run Pussy Run at Blue Frog, Pune

Freak, funk and oddly timed disco are the flavours that make up the band. Melancholic and risque, Run Pussy Run is a project led by songwriter Gowri with some of her best mates from Pune, Mumbai and everywhere else.The collective, at different times, has included Behrooz Mihankhah on keys, Abhishek Debsikdar and Sumair Zubairy on drums, Keshav Iyengar, Anjo John and Jaideep on bass, Peter Pussarnig on guitar, and Gouri Ranjit on backing vocals. They typically perform as a quintet.

Until recently, Run Pussy Run was where all of Gowri’s avatars would blend and fade into the background, as the rest of the band would take the same songs and rip it apart. Now, a year into being, the band has begun composing together, and it’s only a matter of time before a truly pussy-like album be out.
