Known as the producer who gave Chris Isaac’s career-defining song ‘Wicked Games’ a summery, deep-house makeover, the Berlin resident Nicolas Demuth, who performs as Parra For Cuva, travels to the Capital on April 16 to play at antiSocial.

Quite a recent entrant onto the electronica scene – he released his debut EP ‘Fading Nights’ with long-time collaborator and childhood friend, singer Anna Naklab in early 2013 – Cuva’s dreamy soundscapes have quickly won him fans and appreciation.

His productions combine elements of house music, classical piano, field recordings – he never travels without a recorder – and even hip-hop.

Cuva – also a trained classical musician – released his debut album ‘Majouré’ in January 2015, on which ‘Champa’ was a collaboration with Bangalore-based Indian electronica producer Monsoonsiren aka Nathan Menon.
Though the two have never met and didn’t know anything about each other, Cuva reached out to Nathan to work on a track that resulted in the Indian artist lending his high-pitched, breathy vocals to ‘Champa’.

Synth-pop/ darkpop act Aqua Dominatrix, reminiscent of the music of the 70s and 80s, will kickstart proceedings on April 16. Akshay Rajpurohit, better known to fans as the guitarist for metal bands like Scribe and Pangea, revealed the Aqua Dominatrix alter ego last year and released his 12-track album ‘Sadomist’ earlier this year.
