PRATEEK KUHAD (POP ROCK+ POETIC FOLK)
“Find a blend of pop rock and poetic folk in the acoustic beats of Prateek Kuhad. Born in Jaipur, India, Prateek grew up playing the guitar and training vocally in Indian classical music. His influences are eclectic and range from Nick Drake and Elliot Smith to Pearl Jam and Jimi Hendrix. After weaving through diverse musical genres he found a sense of direction after attending a jazz workshop in Prague where he began fusing different styles to reach his own unique sound.
He has also performed at some eminent music festivals in India like the NH7 Weekender and Baajaa Gaajaa. Recently, Prateek played at the Jaipur edition of the world-renowned TEDx conference. Named as one of the “five Delhi based musicians to watch out for” in the Hindustan Times, Prateek Kuhad is a singer songwriter who is striking the right chords in the world of music
TANKBUND (ELECTRONIC)
Tankbund is an electronica/ ambient band from New Delhi It was formed in late 2011 The band released their 15 track debut album titled “Tankbund” this June, they have been heavily influenced by artists like Air, Zero 7, Radiohead, Can, Stereolab, Goldfrapp etc. . Tankbund was featured in Tehelka’s The Music Project series in August 2012.
