Orbs & Zen

In September of 2013, Nicky Ramnani and Ajay Makhija got together to play their first ever official gig by the name of ORBS & ZEN in the heart of one of the biggest and baddest cities in the world – Mumbai. The gig was the first of a bi-weekly affair at a then freshly born venue called The Daily, and one of many more to come in the country. Noticed by one of Mumbai’s leading deep and underground properties – Regenerate – Orbs & Zen began playing opening slots for international majors such as Nils Hoffmann, TigerSkin, Daniel Steinberg, Purple Disco Machine, HNQO and Juliet Sikora among many others.

With the onset of 2015, Orbs & Zen became a solo project headed by Nicky. Still standing strong and more exciting than ever, Orbs & Zen became a major part of Mumbai’s deep electronic scene. Nicky has a wide range of venues under his belt such as Blue Frog, Sitara Studios, Dome International, Olive, Boveda and many more.

OX7GEN: Hailing from the shores of Bombay city, OX7GEN is drummer Aditya Ashok’s alter ego. Being a producer-DJ and a live drummer adds layers of versatility, levelling to a one of a kind dance floor experience. In a little under two years, Ashok has managed to make his presence felt by earning slots at nearly every major festival in the subcontinent. Right from the beaches of Goa’s SUNBURN weekenders dub station stage for 2 years in a row, BASS Camp Festival and many more. During this journey, he’s ended up supporting some of the biggest names in the international bass music scene including London Elektricity, KOAN Sound, Concord Dawn, Dub Phizix & Nymfo to name a few.

TROJA is the individual project of Trideep Roy, conceptualized by travel and exposure to the wide range of dance music across Europe. His journey began from the infamous Minimood parties as part of the Moodroom Collective in St Andrews and the Chocolate Box which then spread across Scotland with opening sets in institutions such as the Sub Club and The Arches in Glasgow.

On moving to Berlin, the trip continued with various independent parties with Quiet & Listen and warm up slots in clubs like Club der Visionaire, Kosmonaut, The Chalet & Ritter Butzke amongst a few.

He is also one half of a collaborative project called “Botief”, which was born this summer and hosted a few initial parties at Mein Haus Am See and Loftus Hall with the Quiet & Listen team.
