Sam is a founder member, guitarist and backing vocalist of Mumbai based band “The Other People”. He has also sung on Season 2 of MTV Unplugged, where he backed Kailash Kher on vocals. A singer/songwriter/composer himself, he has composed for Disney-India and his vocals can be recognised in jingles of Barbecue Nation and Donald Duck’s Birthday Song.
Gavin, a veteran in the live music circuit has been around for almost 20 years, playing with bands like Beethovens in the late 80s to Tantrix (classic rock), Aqua Flow, Manasi Scott, Bombay Vikings etc. He is also the lead guitarist for ‘The Other People’. Performing live, Gavin sets the stage on fire with his piercing leads and versatile playing style perfected over the years.
Vivaan Kapoor a.k.a CHICKEN, is a prolific drummer and percussionist and has been playing drums since the age of 5. He is the current sticksman of Eggs Benedict. Vivaan has also played with artists such as Leslie Lewis, Vasuda Sharma, Sid Coutto, The Other People, the Whirling Kalapas and SUR.
Drawing inspiration from greats such as Mike Portnoy, Alex Acuna, James Kottak and Giovanni Hidalgo, he is well versed in a number of styles and percussion like the Djembe, Cajon, Timbale, Shekres in addition to the drum kit. His instruments of choice are Pearl Drums, Sabian Cymbals, Remo Drumheads and Promark Sticks. Vivaan is presently working on putting together his solo project.
