Shilpa Rao has lent her voice to almost all the Bollywood beauties, right from Sridevi to Katrina Kaif. In a short span of 7 years, she has given us a quite a few hit songs and has worked with biggest of the music composers of India – like Shankar Ehsaam Loy, Vishal Shekhar, Amit Trivedi and A R Rehman, to name a few.
She has also been featured on some of India`s biggest music shows like Coke Studio, MTV Unplugged and Dewarists. She has collaborated with some of the biggest indie artists Parikarama, Agnee, Karsh Kale.
Starting her career in singing for ad jingles, films, winning an award, composing for her own private album, 100s of sold out live performances, and to cracking some witty jokes she has done it all! And she continues to enthrall us with her soulful voice, while on tour with Hard Rock Cafe; with some of her own compositions and some folk songs reversion-ed in newer sound, for the younger audience.
Hard Rock Cafe is celebrating IMAGE, it`s yearly primary tentpole activity focused on generating funds to eradicate hunger and poverty. This is done in association with Yoko Ono and WhyHunger working together in support of this cause.
