Soul’d Out was formed in the summer of 2011. However, the idea for the band had been floating around in some of the members’ heads for quite a while. 4 of it’s members – Rohit, Bhaanu, Abhay and Abhijit – had been jamming occasionally before that, being students of the same college, so the band had no problem starting things off with a bang!
Each member of the band has a very special relationship with music. Their love for the art is quite extraordinary.
With influences ranging over different genres of music, Soul’d Out quite naturally has a very interesting sound, and the members aren’t really concerned about how that sound can be defined/categorised. All that matters to them is that they have fun playing, which eventually spreads contagiously into the crowd! Whether you’re in the mood to bust a move, or just chill out with some friends over a few beers, this band can certainly leave you satisfied!
