These bands write original tunes, have recorded EPs and even launched music videos of their tracks . With great showmanship and quality musicianship, these two bands are a fine showcase of the immense talent that has emerged on the music scene in Bangalore.
Sylvester Trio
This very talented band from Bangalore, led by front man, singer, song writer and producer Sylvester Pradeep, band was born in Taaqademy, the music school hat was created by the iconic band Thermal and a Quarter; and though they love Rock, Funk, Jazz, and the Blues, they do not let this or anything else this limit their music!
Featuring: Sylvester Pradeep (guitar and vocals)/ Joel Rozario (Drums/percussion/vocals), Snehal Pinto (Bass/vocals)
White Mug
Popular Alt Rock n Roll band, White Mug, launched a self titled debut The White Mug EP, and recently, launched their debut official music video with Pepsi MTV Indies(@Counter Culture) for a track from the EP- The Tap song. The band has opened for international bands like Go Go Berlin and has been featured in one of the best music shows in the country- such as Music Mojo by Kappa TV which helped them gain much popularity in the local scene.
2015 has been a great start for the band as they will be part of 2 major music festivals in the country- Indie March15 (Bangalore) and Mojo Rising15 (Bolgatty Palace) . The band is working on recording tracks for their new album this year! With the sound reminiscent of Electric Blues music fused with alternative rock n roll and instruments like cowbells, harmonica, this young band is high on entertainment.
