The Burning Deck will play as a duo (Sandeep Madhavan and Katie Mackay) with guests David Mozko on sax and Manu Srivastava on keyboards. The Burning Deck began life in the little home studio of bassist Sandeep Madhavan (Old Jungle Saying, The Ticker Tapes) in the later half of 2012. With influences that spanned everything from 70s prog-rock and jazz fusion to the Bristol sound of the 90s, while assimilating elements of drum n bass, dubstep and Asian underground, the sound was always going to be out-of-the-box.

The Burning Deck is the solo project of Sandeep Madhavan (Bass/Vocals/Electronics) . When playing live, the band features Bharath Kumar on keyboards, Yadhunandan Nagaraj on drums, Katie Mackay on trumpet and vocals and David Mozko on saxophone
