The High Local Scene this Thursday presents Wobblehead & Castles in the Sky!

Wobblehead, a dubstep and trap act from the neighbourhood. From bedroom oblivion to super club beats, music has always been a major part of Wobblehead’s life! He is always intrigued by changing and mixing sound patterns and creating edgy and high frequency tunes. His music manipulates the bassline and rhythm to create new and funky tunes. He mainly plays dubstep and trap and his sounds are majorly influenced by a heavy wobble bass, thumping beats and intense compositions.

Wobblehead has also recently started producing and making his own tracks and music using his knowledge and base of tonality and instruments. He loves mixing in catchy, quirky sounds into his tracks to make them unique and crazy! But above all else, he loves using his passion of music to change people’s moods and thoughts.
Castles in the Sky is an upcoming two piece lo-fi electronic act with a distinct sound and style of music. They released their debut EP titled ‘Fugu Fish’ earlier this year alongside some new material including their single ‘Burnim’ and other mixes. The act comprises of two talented 19-year-olds, Shubham Mehra and Angad Bharaj, who also play DJ sets showcasing the various genres that have been an influence to their sound like ambient, dub, post-dub, UK garage, funk, IDM,  grime and experimental.
