remiere of The Manganiyar Classroom, a Roysten Abel creation for Cain and Abel and Bhoomija, will kick off Jackfruit.
Roysten Abel, the master creator of The Manganiyar Seduction, Girish Karnad’sFlowers, his own The Kitchen and Othello in Black and White auditioned more than 150 children in the villages of Rajasthan to select 40 boys between the ages of 9 and 14.
”All the children sing like they were born breaking into a song. They have stunned me with their talent,” says Roysten, whose dream it has been for a while to create something very special with the Manganiyar children.
