The Obed Zeme Project is an 8-piece outfit, culling members from diverse walks of life and musical influences everything from rock, latin, country, blues, gospel, to metal and funk, guitar instrumental and everything in between. The outfit tips a collective hat to greats like Johny Lang, Warren Hayes, Kenny Wayne Sheppard, Bob Marley, Bill Withers, Steven Seagal and the Beatles. Songs talk about life experiences and journeys, and touch upon topics such as peace, love, faithfulness, transformation, jubilation, divine connections, relationships and curiosity.
Obed Zeme has been a prominent fixture on the North India music scene for well over two decades, having started with piano and guitars at the fledgling age of 8, and has amassed a sizeable body of work along the way. He recorded his first album when he was 12.
