With eight years of prefessional performance under their belt, The Other People is India’s pop/rock sensation. Playing a varied range of popular covers, this six member band has been making waves at clubs, concerts and private events across the country. Currently, they are also taking steps to write and compose original music. The band is known for its energetic and exciting performances.
The Other People were formed in July 2004 and in the last eight years, they have performed at scores of venues, concerts and private events across the country. Familiar in and around the club circuit and having played at celebrated venues such as The Blue Frog and Hard Rock Cafe, Opus, Amadeus, Shiro, V Spot Cafe etc.

The band performed at the Lakme India Fashion Week finale in October 2008 and subsequently headlined for Wendell Rodricks, a leading designer and have been the main acts for the launch of Absolut Vodka’s Rock Edition, Fox History and Traveller and have been headlining acts at festivals such as Channel V India Fest, The Barn Festival (Goa) and the Great Indian Oktoberfest (Bengaluru). And, after enthralling the crowd at Independence Rock XXVI, the band, has set its mark in India’s rock circuit.

Over the years, T.O.P has opened for the India tours of numerous international artists by the likes of American band Saving Abel, the legendary Danish band Michael Learns to Rock, DJ Edward Maya, DJ Diamond, Lacuna Coil and Bedouin Soundclash. Having also shared the stage with contemporary pop sensation Jay Sean, The Other People are known to bring about an original twist into each track that never fails to surprise the audience. The band is now expanding their list of original songs and in the process of recording their debut album.
