Time Travel was formed by the amalgamation of members of two nationally well-known bands – Classic Rock/Metal band “Psyx” and Progressive Rock Band “Silver Tears”.

The 4 core members have 3 decades of live performance experience.  The main lead guitar player and band leader Bijit Bora is also an acclaimed guitar teacher.

He also shares the Time Travel platform with his young and talented music students. The early set performed by the band in May was very well received.

THE MEMBERS

Bijit Bora – Band Leader and Lead guitar
Bijit has been playing guitar in bands for 25 years all over the country. He is also a well-known guitar teacher and proprietor of his “Academy of Modern Guitar” and has his own websitewww.bijitbora.com.

Nawaz Hussain- Drums
Currently completing the 8th grade of the Trinity exam, Nawaz is an accomplished virtuoso drummer with significant live experience. His other band ‘Silver Tears’ won the 2011 Yamaha Beat Contest and represented India in Seoul, Korea.

Kev Ramon- Vocals and Rhythm GuitarThe young lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist of the band. He has a wide range of vocal dynamics, and has experience in playing live with the band “After Promise Land.”

Nikhil Nair- Bass Guitar
A relatively new member of the band, bassist Nikhil is a founding member of the band “After Promise Land” and has more than 3 years of experience in playing live.

Nazar Bukhari- Lead Guitar
Nazar has been playing lead guitar at live shows for 3 years, and has been a Bijit’s student. He has performed at various college fests and High Street Phoenix with the band Promised Land

Tavasya Agarwal- Lead Guitar
Tavasya is Bijit’s student, youngest member of the band at the age of 16. A 10th grader, he has already performed at the Blue Frog, with Time Travel in May .
