Sa Va Ni sursangeet is all set to provide a special treat to music lovers of Mumbai & Thane city with a much awaited concert of world renowned Tabla Maestro Ustaad Zakir Hussain on Saturday February 15th. In this program people will get to experience the electrifying Solo performance of Ustaad Zakir Hussain in the first session. The second session will comprise of a unique combination of Ustad Zakirji and youth icon Niladri Kumar.
Niladri uses a special Sitar which has five more strings than the usual Sitar and thus during his performance a rare and beautiful sound of Sitar and Guitar is generated to enthrall the audience. This innovation is popularly known as Zitar all over the world. This dynamic combination of Ustaad Zakir Hussain and Niladri Kumar has recently performed together in Europe and are now coming together in a `must see` concert in Thane.
Zakir Bhai`s fans are in for a double delight as they will get to see his solo performance after a long gap.
