Water the roots is a collector’s connection of musical dots from the past into the present. It is an intention to touch base on music that may have had glorified times or deserved better than they did, or maybe it’s time to give it another listen.

It’s a showcase of music that has similarities in rhythm, origin, time or just simply drawing parallel from their creators across the world. It is a turntablist’s celebration of “Cool Music” or just a simple celebration of “Music” that a non-music digger would not have access to.

It is an intention to present a rich sonic journey reflecting the time and telling a story of pain or shared joy and love all the way from the roots to branches by Prashanth Pallemoni at The Humming Tree.
