Lee Ranaldo
Lee Ranaldo is best known as the founding member and guitarist for legendary American band Sonic Youth. He was rated #33 in Rolling Stone’s Top 100 Guitarists in the World. His band Lee Ranaldo & The Dust also features fellow Sonic Youth collaborator Steve Shelley who is a well known drummer and producer.
Menwhopause
Menwhopause has been credited for being the first Indian band to have stuck to playing original compositions and distributing their music for free over the internet. Their first EP called The Story Begins was released online as a free download in 2003 under the bands own label The Middle Earth Company which has been credited by many as kickstarting the present indie-music scene in India.
