Alt-J to return to Delhi this May

English Indie Rock band Alt-J will be returning to Delhi this May to “make up” for cancelling their concert last minute at the Emerge Music Festival earlier this month. Following the cancellation, the band apologized on social media with the statement “Hey Delhi, we are really sorry not to be able to play tonight, but the weather has gone from bad to worse and we don’t want to risk our fans’ safety or anyone else’s.”

The news of their return this May surely comes as a pleasant surprise to all the heartbroken fans in Delhi, many of whom were waiting in the pouring rain for the band to take to the stage and then later informed that they weren’t going to be playing at all.
