Social Dub Club is Social brand new night that will showcase some of the coolest dub and reggae artists from around the country and truly represent sound system culture here in Bangalore.
Bala Subramanyam aka Dakta Dub is a dj/radio presenter with loads of experience behind him dedicated to music. His DJ career started in 2004 when he first visited Budapest, Hungary for a professional diploma course, but destiny leaded him to Tilos Radio, the biggest underground radio station of Budapest. At Tilos Radio Dakta had an opportunity to learn DJ-ing and mixing several types of music such as world fusion, dub, reggae, drum n bass, dub- step , chill out, global Indian, jazz and various influences. His weekly radio show Indian Lights became the most popular among different programs. During his stay in Budapest he also appeared as a guest DJ on Tilos Radio’s other programs. From 2006 started hosting Saturday evening Indian music show on Radio C Fm 88.8, Budapest, a gypsy radio station. Dakta played at several club parties and festivals: No mans land festival, Hungary, Hanna Hanna festival Slovakia, RWTH University fest, Germany. Tilos Radio World Music Party series with fellow program makers on Radio.

After being introduced to underground electronic music @ the age of 18 he began his DJ carrier in 2010, playing electronic and dance music that maximises every beat of every track to create the unique sound. His precision mixing is part of the show, as each track mixes in you can deeply feel the dance-floor going up a notch to keep up with the frantic and energetic mood. He has played alongside with some of the notable artists & @ the best clubs in bangalore.
Gautham’s musical style reflects his eclectic influencesfrom high-modernist integral surrealism to raw electro, jazz-funk fusion to 80s rock & roll, indian classical & moreall distilled down to pure, crystalline style. His music s never limited. so he likes exploring for some fresh sounds in a various geners like Electro, Psy Breaks(Tech Funk), Dub Reggae, Chill Step, Glitch Hop, Swing Hop, Ghetto Funk, Drum N Bass, DrumStep, DeathStep, DubStep, Full On, Twilight, Forest & more.
He is quite experimental with sounds and always would want to introduce some twisted & wicked sounds of some new styles of music for the audience.
