Akshay George‘s initial experiments with music started when he was quite young. Unfazed by the common desire to front a band during his college life he sought a simpler sound. He felt people in this day and age were starved of acoustic music.Convinced with the concept It wasn’t long before he started performing as a solo artist. In his stint at Calcutta he earned rave reviews in The Telegraph for his own renditions of songs he felt inspired by.

He has been fortunate enough to share the stage with the likes of Parikrama, Them Clones Shubha Mudgal when he was with A.U. and has even performed for the president a few times at the Rashtrapati Bhawan with his school Mount st. Mary’s, The Little Singers Of Delhi and the Golden Jubilee Choir.Akshay has developed as a solo artist over the years and has been writing his own music for quite sometime. He has performed at venues across India and featured in various music festivals including The Escape Festival and the I Haat Delhi Festival.
