The music of Guitar duo, Bombay Acoustic People is not new in its format, and yet like no other. It is original instrumental music created by two guitars and minds: Sankarshan Kini – steel-string guitar, and Anurag Shanker – nylon-string guitar. Their playing and approaches draw from very different worlds but form a unique thread when they write and play music together.
The Guitar Duo is fresh off a European tour where they played music cafes and concert venues in Germany, Paris, Netherlands and Austria and were also part of the Jazzahead!
Over the past couple of years they introduced Bombay to the refreshing concept of living room concerts.
“Club night series” is their current effort to take their music across the Indian subcontinent from the Living room into the live music clubs.
Bombay Acoustic People have recently released their debut record, A Reclaimed Interval (in February, 2015). The album is a crisp, new page of instrumental world music. A Reclaimed Interval, contains genres that vary from world, jazz, blues, folk [there’s even a hip version of a classic grunge rocker!] – And the sound that they are all held together by is an organic blend of steel and nylon string guitar, that is the first of its kind.

Performing a set of down tempo acoustic music, both originals as well as re-harmonised covers, is the Duo of acclaimed guitarist Sanjeev T and talented local guitarist Raghuraraman Ramasubramanian.
Awarded the Most Inventive, Innovative and Creative Indie Act in Asia at AVIMA 2010, & Best Vocalist @ The Rolling stone Rock awards, 2014, Sanjeev T is the Lead Guitarist for Oscar / Grammy winning magician from India – A R Rahman since 2006.
Endorsed by Gibson Guitars, USA, Faith Guitars, UK, Laney Amplification, UK and D’Addario Strings, USA – Sanjeev T was featured in Coke Studio and MTV Unplugged in their inaugural seasons. He has performed at over 45 destinations worldwide covering some of the biggest venues in the world, including the O2 in London and Madisson Square Garden.
