Bombay Bassment is an urban outfit made solid by 2 Goans & 1 South Indian. This eclectic mix of artists has led to a sound that defines the grass roots of each, the outcome of which is an upbeat blend of Hip-Hop, Rap, Reggae, Funk & Drum ‘n Bass. Despite different cultural and hence musical backgrounds, the band still manages to pull off a sound that cuts through every soul. Yet to figure out the source of this artistic force, the band is on a musical expedition since its official formation in March 2010. JOIN THE FORCE. Levin & Ruell are the original founders of Bombay Bassment and have been ex-members of alt-funk band Aftertaste from 2005 till the band officially spilt in 2009! DJ Chantz, with over 15 years of experience, started off as a resident DJ at landmark Bombay clubs including the city’s once most buzzing hot spot live music venue / nightclub “Razzberry Rhinoceros”. Bombay Bassment officially hit the indie music scene in November 2010.
