Crazy Little Thing Called Love at Our Sacred Space, Secunderabad

A line-up of love songs with a retro flavour interspersed with some light-hearted banter on that ‘Crazy Little Thing Called Love’ – that kind of sums up the essence of this show.

Part of a series popularly known as ‘The Songs of The Balladeer’ performed by Sanjo all over India, ‘Crazy Little Thing Called Love’ takes a long, hard and completely non-serious look at love and all its pitfalls, irrationality and madness. Through a journey down memory lane revisiting golden oldies, the show in some way or the other ends up reminding everyone of their own little romantic follies.

To add a semblance of structure to what must essentially be a free-flowing musical session, the event will be in a Q&A format – however, there will be nothing staid, formal or straight-jacketed about the format. On the contrary, the question-and-answer element will form the very basis of the banter that playfully takes tongue-in-cheek pot shots at that ‘Crazy Little Thing Called Love”.
