DJ Slim has been into electronic music from the age of 14. Growing up, he was interested in several genres of electronica music such as ielectro , techno and house, but has always been focused on the feeling of a track which slowly matured his style into a soulful unique form of House music. . Slim’s energy and vibe while playing a set is out of this world – it’s uplifting and gets the crowd smiling and moving! At the ripe old age of nineteen, bored with the same old daily routine; he and two friends began organizing the much loved p e r p e n d i c u l a r . Starting small, entertaining a group of select friends it has now developed a cult following, with over 1400 attending at their 2012 official summer party.

Three words that describe his music: Uplifting – Soulful Groovy. His mantra is simple and real.

Slim’s experience has grown over the years and he’s opened for various international artists such as Anja Schneider, Rodriguez Jr, Finnebassen, Doctor Dru, Adana Twins and even played b2b with David August for creamfields Malta after he had finished his personal live set. Apart from DJing, he also runs three successful promotions which are all well known in Malta, one of which has seen over 1400 guests for the official summer event. His energy and skills will hit the High Cookout and he’s flying out to India for this gig!
