Parvaaz at Indigo Live Music Bar, Bangalore

Cry Freedom presents Parvaaz! They are a Kashmiri rock band based in Bangalore and boy are they all set to rock out on stage!

Parvaaz is a contemporary Indian music band whose four members have assimilated several international rock influences but their own expression has a rootedness that makes their sound unique. They sing mostly in Kashmiri and Urdu and their own line-up reflects the diversity they come from.

Parvaaz released its debut album ‘Behosh’ which subsequently became the top selling album on ‘OKListen!’, and topped the ‘Nh7’ charts. The album was then nominated for TOTO Awards as well as Gima Awards for the category of ‘Best Rock Album’.
Over the years Parvaaz has been part of all the major music festivals across the country. The 2013 MTV Segment ‘Rayban Never Hide Sounds’ featured Parvaaz in collaboration with Raghu Dixit.
