Sean Roldan & Friends at Blue Frog, Bangalore

Sean Roldan, also known as R Raghavendra, a professional Carnatic classical musician, had love for blues and country music styles when he was growing up. He started developing an original style in song writing and guitar playing with a blend of Indian folk, American country blues, acoustic funk and classical melody influences.

The band ‘Sean Roldan and friends’ is an acoustic setup with Roldan on lead guitars and vocals, Pradeep on Slide Guitars, Mani on the bass and Praveen on the percussion, who are one of the most leading performance and session artistes in India. The group has a completely new approach to sound and artistic expression, blending the south Asian and western ideas in the craziest possible fashion.
