The High Cookout feat. Nanok & Your Chin at High Spirits Cafe, Pune

You finally have a good enough reason to wake up this Sunday because the High Cookout features a killer lineup with Nanok and Your Chin coming down with special sets, Pune!!
Nanok is the new culprit ready to resonate into a new sound, new look and new feel. Jai Vaswani alias Nanok has been a DJ for a decade now and has been producing music for almost 4 years. He has several releases under his belt and recently made his debut with a brand new set consisting of all-original dance music, which will add a good element of funk and disco to our current Indian scene.
Also on the cards is Mumbai-based Your Chin, the solo project of Raxit Tewari, frontman of indie band Sky Rabbit. Raxit uses guitars, soft synths and computers layered with his mellow yet soothing vocals to produce a new brand of electronica and indie-pop. Your Chin blends a post-rock sensibility with a live of electro-pop sounds that gives his seemingly irreverent urban poetic lyrics a joyful complexity. Think ‘The Whitest Boy Alive’ meets ‘Julian Casablancas (The Strokes)’ and you are halfway there! While Your Chin’s first self-titled EP released in June 2012, he recently released ‘Scatter Nature’, his second EP, which he’s launching at Da High!
