Toby White
Toby is one of todays rising professional DJs, playing an essential part in Asia Pacifics Nightlife and Entertainment development as an industry professional; and, at the same time developing a name for himself as a DJ across the globe with experience in hundreds of clubs, hotels, bars, lounges and international festivals across Europe and Asia for over 15 years.
After learning to master several instruments from the age of 6, he went on to study Event-Management in Dusseldorf, Germany where he got his first residencies in popular clubs on the scene. Driven by a raw passion for new experiences, he finally relocated in 2008 to Thailand to take on new projects in Asia, where to this day, he remains consistently a notorious entertainer for people from all over world, known for instantly hyping up any crowd with his addictive, energetic sets.
Toby is now resident DJ and the heart and soul of Bangkok Citys newest and most captivating underground music venues; WAX, which is a success following his outstanding reputation on the scene built through his previous long standing residency at BASH Club in Bangkok, where he performed at and ran the clubs most renownedSaturday nights with his live vocalist; Mariana, for 700-1000 clubbers weekly. As Entertainment Manager of the biggest Entertainment group in Thailand, music producer and international DJ he is working with numerous international artists such as M.A.N.D.Y, Terranova, Popof Super Flu, Tiefschwarz, Pig & Dan, Tom Wax, Riva Starr, Ramon Tapia, Claptone, AGENT!, Purple Disco Machine, The Magician, Marco Loco, Andre Crom, Michael Woods, Miguel Migs, Victor Simonelli, George Morel, Martin Eyerer , Frank Richard, Mario Aureo, Nakadia and many more.
Raketka
Like most DJs in the spinning market today, Raketka originally was a professional party monster. However, her musical taste and ability evolved; not just with endless partying all over ex USSR, but serious education in music too. Raketka started to DJ in 2007 as a part of a band called “Belka and Strelka”, playing mainly minimal-techno and tech-house. The first performance of this band was at the “Kosmos Nash” festival, headliners of which were representatives of the world electronic scene like DJ T, Martin Eyerer, D-nox, KingRoc, Glimpse, Nass, Mr.C, Dolls at play and Rudolf. A successful debut was followed by a chain of gigs in some of the biggest Belarusian clubs (Belaya Veja, Metro, Mogilev; Nemo, Gomel (Minsk) etc.) The end of 2007 saw the last of the “Belka and Strelka” project, and the first official gig by Raketka! Still focussing on techno sound she played for a packed audience at the “Dikie Yaitsa”, a massive New Year’s techno rave party in Minsk. Today, Raketka’s a household name at some of the biggest clubs and radio stations in Minsk. Raketka also bagged the 5th position at the “DJ-Battle 2008” held nationwide. 2009 saw the inception of her own party label called “Get me real” in collaboration with Clink Recordings. in Minsk and everywhere else!
