WTS NewsWTS NewsMadam X
DJ, label head and club impresario Madam X has proved she has many strings to her bow. A constant and moreover, crucial, fixture in Manchesters underground clubbing scene, her intimate knowledge of the city both as a scene and a place brimming with talented artists quickly began to prove dividends after first breaking through in 2011.
From co-founding label and Manchester club night BPM, short for Big People Music, in 2011 to showcase how much the city had to offer, she soon built a reputation for her surefire, upfront DJ Mixes combining everything current and bubbling; grime, techno, bass, garage you name it, Madam X would mix it. It was this reputation that paved the way for a series of BBC 1Xtra residency slots while still in Manchester covering for Diplo on BBC Radio 1 and hosting a series of shows, its a combination of hard work and crucially, patience, that have really started to pay off over the last two years.

Michael Woods
After first breaking onto the scene, as a then teenager, with 2000s top 20 UK hit Warrior, going on to produce Examples only UK #1 & 1.5 million selling single Changed The Way You Kiss Me and holding down his new Las Vegas residency at LiFE at the SLS, Woods is a well and truly established force to be reckoned with.
From an early age, Woods has prided himself on standing apart from the crowd. The son of a music teacher, the U.K.-born Woods was classically trained in a variety of instruments ranging from piano to percussion, and as a youth he even performed briefly with the London Symphony Orchestra. The experience this musicality has brought now sets his productions apart and gives him an edge on contemporaries.
If that were not enough, Woods launched his own record label, Diffused Music, in 2008. Initially created as a way to have more freedom and control in the creative process, Diffused has rapidly become one of the premiere collectors of talent in the business. With its goal to find and nurture new talent, artists could not be in better hands under Michaels guidance. Michael has had a significantly consistent 2015 via his Diffused label, seeing the year out with eight singles of his own, alongside those from his new artist discoveries.

Kohra is the deep, hypnotic and often grungy mirror image of Madhav Shorey. Raw analog signals and lush soundscapes mixed with percussion sounds and sharp glitches is what can be heard through his mysterious productions. A style that is intelligent enough to mesmerize, yet simple enough to move you.
Constantly paving the way for a new sub-culture of underground dance music is no task for the timid, which is why he has already become the first Indian to have hit the top 10 charts on global industry standards such as Beatport. As a producer his music has been signed to many well respected international record labels including Sounds Of Earth, Trident Music, Wide Angle Recordings and Echoes Records to name a few.
