Peter Cat Recording Co. comes from New Delhi, currently consisting of four members. The sound is heavily inspired by classic Bollywood motifs, American big band, and ballroom waltz.

Their first album Sinema was released in early 2010 to wide acclaim, with their second album Wall Of Want delving more into more experimental territory. Amid the wave of critical praise, Radiohead and Nirvana producer Miti Adhikari highlighted them as an act he would love to produce.

Their live show straddles the line between performance art and musical salvation, encompassing backdrops of iconic Bollywood film sequences and musical samples, bullhorns, deftly controlled vocal histrionics, and long instrumental passages; building and collapsing around what are often two hour sets.

Mumbai based Sky Rabbit (formerly known as Medusa) defines their sound as electronic/alternative. A formidable quartet of Mumbai’s most gifted youth, Raxit (Vocals/Samples), Rahul (Guitar/Samples), Siddharth (Bass) and Harsh (Drums) have stumbled upon something unique, merging electronica with indie and post-punk styles.

Sky Rabbit was one of four bands in India that was selected to be part of Soundpad, a project organised by the British Council, where they recorded two tracks with legendary producer John Leckie (Radiohead, Pink Floyd, The Verve) at Yash Raj Studios in Mumbai.

In 2009 Sky Rabbit performed at the Great Escape Festival in Brighton and continued their UK tour to Cardiff, Oxford, Liverpool and London.

Their debut album, which released in January 2012 under the Virgin EMI record label, is a set of tightly constructed tracks that blend synthetic textures with more organic instrumentation, creating a sound that is bold, experimental and ultimately captivating and addictive.

The band has been gigging relentlessly and is also working on their next EP due to release soon.

Written and produced by Ashu, ‘Inside My Head’ takes you on a tour of Vivienne’s life as she transforms herself from a vocalist to an artist. The show features a star studded line-up of musicians: Adrian D’souza, Ashu Phatak, Kenny Rebello and Vinay Lobo.Music composer and producer Ashutosh Phatak has outdone himself with ‘Inside My Head’. This is an album where Vivienne has really come into her own. Her glorious vocal style is a mix of the modern and the classic. Think Amy Winehouse and Adele with the huskiness of a Shirley Bassey. But despite these comparisons, this is very much Vivienne’s voice and her story; and both are unique, powerful and expressive!He has also written the lyrics by attempting to get into her head and write in her voice. Says Ashu, “It was a dream to discover her various inner voices and have them come out and speak on this album. Vivienne has performed with me on many occasions and has really added that ‘oomph’ factor to my shows, and so when the opportunity to work on the album presented itself I jumped at it! She is a fascinating person and a multi-faceted performer and it was sheer joy producing this album!”
