Delhi-based Undying Inc. is all set to launch it’s latest EP titled ‘Ironclad.‘ The EP has been produced by Keshav Dhar and recorded, mixed and mastered at Illusion Audio. All music and lyrics are written by Undying Inc. (Shashank Bhatnagar, Biswarup Gupta, Reuben Bhattacharya, Nishant Hagjer) except ‘Beyond Trendkill’ which is a reworking of Great Southern Trendkill + Strength Beyond Strength, originally written by Dimebag Darrell Abbot, Phillip H. Anselmo, Rex Brown & Vinnie Paul, appearing on the Pantera albums ‘The Great Southern Trendkill ‘ 1996 and ‘Far Beyond Driven’ 1994. Details of the digital release will be out soon. It has been hardly under a year since the release of Prateek Kuhad‘s EP Raat Raazi (read our review of the album here) and he is already working on his next release – this time an English album planned to be launched early next year. Prateek has released a live video of ‘Big Surprise,’ a track that will be on his upcoming English album. This video also features Nikhil Vasudevan on percussion and Nawa Lanzilotti on cello. Taaqademy is all set to open it’s second centre in Bangalore, this time in Whitefield. The new centre is slightly bigger than the existing one in Koramangala with more classroom spaces, bigger jam rooms, and it seems like the founders Bruce Lee Mani and Rajiv Rajagopal have, quite literally, dived headfirst into “making space for music.” Watch this!
Mumbai-based death metal band Reptilian Death have released a new play-through video for their song ‘Soaked With The Imperfections Of Pureile Blood’. The song is taken from the band’s sophomore album The Dawn Of Consummation And Emergence which was released worldwide on Old School Metal Records in 2013.

Rolling Stone Metal Awards returns in its fifth edition this year. Among eight nominee categories, Mumbai death metal band Reptilian Death lead the tally with seven nominations, including Best Song, Best Band and Best Album. Top nominees this year also include Delhi-based metal band Undying Inc., thrash/groove metal band Zygnema, black metal band Cosmic Infusion, progressive/hardcore metal band Reverrse Polarity, death metal band Gutslit and folk metal band The Down Troddence, among others. The Down Troddence and Gutslit have six nominations each. RSMA, which has previously honored artists such as Demonic Resurrection, Scribe, Bhayanak Maut, Undying Inc, Eccentric Pendulum and Skyharbor, will give away awards for Best Band, Best Song and Best Album based on…
Mumbai-based Demonic Resurrection have announced the release of their fourth full-length album titled ‘The Demon King‘. The album is due for release worldwide on Candlelight Records and on Universal Music in India. “We have always played around with unnamed forces of darkness in the past. With this release, we felt the need for an evil overlord to take the reigns and bring in the apocalypse. Prakash Sontakke was invited to speak recently at the TEDx Talks at the Christ University, Bangalore. Prakash shared his views on how the Slide Guitar happens to be an instrument which helped him discover the invisible connection between all musical styles in the world. He also spoke about how being traditional doesn’t mean not opening to different musical formats and genres and his unique collaborations with progressive electronic jazz and fusion artists, that redefined the Slide in a completely new way.
